Hahn Self Defense Studios: Stationery Design
The project was to choose either a client we were working with or a fictional company, for whom we would design their logo, stationery including a business card, letterhead and envelope, and a brand guide. For this project, I revisited and redesigned all of the mentioned deliverables for a fictional company I came up with for a previous design project: Hahn Self Defense Studios. Hahn is the german word for rooster. Given that and that the logo would be for a martial arts studio, the chosen logo was the stylized rooster such that it represented the dynamic fierce movement of self defense. The goal for the stationery design was to highlight the colors of the Hahn Self Defense studios brand, and a brand guide was created for the company to see the correct uses of the logo, incorrect uses of the logo and the typography to use for their promotional materials.
